the different color and fading on the barrels gives the lighting an odd look. it almost looks like a digitally created image. but it also gives each barrel its own personality in a way. nice shot! it looks to me like an accident waiting to happen... haha.

"Barrel Wall" is in color, I converted it. I totally feel where you are coming from because I flip flopped many times one which version I liked more. I went with the B&W because I thought the pattern of the stripes was stronger in the B&W version, maybe I'll post the color in scraps.

It's not digitally created other than it is a digital capture . It is interesting that every barrel is different even though they are all the same. I suppose that is one of the cool things about natural building materials. The stack is actually a large square and this is only one side of it. It looked rather stable when I was near it, but if one of them went over it would make quite the mess, I believe these barrels are moderatly heavy.
